Arvin Boolell

Arvin Boolell (born आर्विन बूलेल्ल on May 26, 1953) is the foreign minister of Mauritius. He was appointed by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam and took office in September 2008.[1] He belongs to the Boolell dynasty and his father was former Foreign Minister Satcam Boolell and he is a cousin of former foreign minister Anil Gayan.[2] Before serving as Foreign Minister, he was the minister of Agro-Industry and Fisheries of Mauritius, and was involved in negotiations with the European Union over economic issues.[3]
